  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

When I have my iPhone 7 connected via wireless, I do not get audible notifications for text messages (just vibrate). If I am parked and use the iPhone to type a text message I do not get audible clicks from the keyboard. With the engine off, all is normal.

Is there a setting to keep the audible notifications on all the time?

You have to be on the right "channel" as in click on media, and then Bluetooth iPhone. If you are listening to music through Bluetooth, any notification will come in as a ding or whatever you have set on your iPhone.

I have an iphone6 and have the same problem. I could not find any settings to be able to hear the notification when you get a text message.

Yeah, but like you said you have to be streaming your music to your car. I'm usually on Sirius/XM, so that's not an option.
