The MOST important time for remote start and the server is down.:eek:
 
Yup - just checked and it's out for me too. Not that I'm going anywhere anytime soon with 2+ feet of snow in Central NJ and not a plow to be seen yet! I would not take the Genesis out of the garage anyhow - it's freshly waxed!

Have same issue outside Chicago.and we pay for this poor service. Mine is up on Jan 29. I'm not sure if I should renew? I don't drive my R-Spec much in the winter, only drove it the roads are clean and dry. I have two more years on the free trial.

I'm going to call and demand a credit - plan to check every day from now on and get credits if it's down!
 
Not sure of the point of the video - it looked the same here, but most were smart enough to stay off the roads, let alone try to video while driving in it, lol...
Nah can't pull over when the truck stops are full and snow everywhere. That is why I laugh when you guys cry about having to type in phone numbers or complain about voice controls smh. You do have point about using phones but 500k accident free safe mIles speak for themselves and im no fool holding the phone while driVing is no differect then shifting gears and keeping one hand on the stick shift if all the attention is on the road. I just wanted to show my georgia friends how screwed up the road was in Tennessee, nothing more...like said off topic lol on topic though I would do like you said and keep track they should have to legally reimburse you for the days it is down.
 
I was able to log in to the Genesis blue link at 6:24pm EST, update my vehicle status which worked. But then tries to lock my car and said there was no connection. An hour ago I couldn't even log in.

Update: just tried to lock my car and it went through. Looks like it's up and running. 6:27pm

update: 6:29pm and my unlock request failed due to network connection. Looks like it's sporadic right now

it continues to let me update vehicle status but locks and starter not working.

People please call and complain if your Bluelink remote features are not working. We pay good money for this and being down for 2+ days is just not acceptable. Called the 800# again this morning and they tried to act like it is the first they are hearing of any trouble BS!!! Then they tried to tell me it's because of the snow fall in my area. These people are really trying my patience!!! On hold now for a stupidvisor!!!

Dude relax, first world problems. It's not the end of civilization and if someone heard you screaming because you can't get internet connectivity to your car, they would :rolleyes:

As far as the "stupid" help desk people, you may want to take an extra xanax and realize that that hourly worker probably is telling you what they know or trained to tell you. This was an epic storm that effected lots of companies and over a quarter of the US population likely also caused these issues . Have a decaf and all will good soon - this sounds like a Rolls Royce forum with posters angry because the Grey Poupon left a small stain on the burled wood dinner tray.
 
Stuff happens, it's not a perfect world. Just be honest and tell us that, don't lie and cover up.
After dealing with the useless Bluelink people I called the Equus/Genesis hotline. Don't know if it was coincidence or not or just perfect timing but they refreshed the account and everything is working now.
