No ivory on V6 cars for MY2016 ?? Say it isn't so.

My local dealer here in Madison, WI was doing a locator search for me on allocated inventory for MY2016 (today) and ivory is NOT A VALID OPTION for V6 cars...can this really be?

If someone can confirm one way or another I would be most grateful.

I've got no information, but I can easily see how it might be difficult to find one in allocated inventory this early in the model year. I'll be upset as well if this is true for the entire MY.

Might be a little early to verify that. Wait until Hyundai lists the build options for the 2016 Genesis on the Hyundai website. In 2015, I assume you know that ivory is only available on the Ultimate Package V6.

I do indeed know that HOWEVER in my email conversation with the dealer I wrote Signature although I meant Ultimate....so they probably literally ran what I said and that brought back the expected results. My bad. I have an email into them now to rerun it specifying what I intended but managed to screw up grrrr...

I have a 2016 brochure in hand. It shows the Ivory Option just like the 2015 brochure. Same Black Ash Wood Option. It doesn't indicate if it is for the V6 or V8. I have seen it on the 2015 V6.

Speaking of interior colors, I really think they missed the boat not offering red like all the rest of the high end cars. My son in law just git his BMW X6 M with red interior, stunning color. I have also seen quite a few Mercedes with this color and the wow factor is way up there for sure.

Following up from last week:

Corrected my mistake with my dealer and told him to run the locator search for 2016 AWD V6 cars with the Ultimate package and ivory interiors and no dice. So I am hoping as pointed out earlier that perhaps there were not any ivory interiors in this first group of cars in the locator database.

They (the dealer) have no official info from Hyundai - they've just been looking at 2016 inventory in the inventory locator.

So....I cross my fingers and wait.
