  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi,
is there any 'hidden' setting? My navigation is functioning but mute. It's 2013-V6-Tech Package.
Has no active bluelink subscription (if that matter)

Thank you!

Look for a speaker icon in a circle with a slash mark. Unmute it.

When you come to a turn and it's about to tall just turn the volume knob. The volume is probably at 0. The navi has to be actively speaking to you when you adjust its volume. The navi acts on a separate volume than that of the standard radio or aux channels. For instance. I have my volume set at around 30 most of the time in my car but my navi is set to about 15 so it isn't super loud telling me to turn.

Thanks for all the replies. Those are checked but still no sound. Very strange. All other audio related are fine (USB, Radio, XM, BT, CD, DVD)

The bottom line is that the Nav volume has its own setting. Keep looking in your settings.

Thanks!, I found that setting, and I tried to put it to max, but not change, still mute.
I played with the mute toggle too, and still nothing.

Okay, it’s not the end of the world to ask for your dealer’s help. Get an oil change, etc and ask for help.

+1 for this. Happened to me once as well as the different "navi mute" issue. Can be very confusing.
