  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My 2023 GV80 is acting up again. Now the radio is not working. Display shows the selected station and reacts to station changes, but there is no sound. It's as if there is a mute button that has accidently been pushed. Wife says this happened to her in the past, but self-corrected after time.

The rotating volume control on the steering wheel should be the Mute button when pushed IN once. Push IN again to unmute.

Thanks for the reply, but I had tried that with no luck. As it turns out, somehow the rotating volume control had been accidently rolled down to where it was at the zero sound position- fortunately a happy fix!

Well, okay then. I suppose I thought that was the obvious first thing you must have checked, but whatever. Glad you got it worked out.
