  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

November 2018 sales numbers were released. Month to month there were more G70s of course, less G90s and the same number of G80s. Year to year, down once again which makes sense given the dealer network.

It will be interesting to see if these numbers change as I have a feeling they used the wrong numbers for the G80 since the Nov and Oct numbers are the same for sales.

are there lots of g80’s stacking up in the delivery pipeline? Can we expect dealers to be ready to deal once that situation is settled? In California here and wondering if it’s worth waiting. Would like to upgrade from our 2012

I think some of the dealers wil be willing to discount and some will stick close to MSRP. One of our members got a 4.6% discount on a Sport shortly after they were released. One would think that as more dealers have them in a state there could be some competition and discounting.

1,550 G70's sold in Korea last month.

5,321 - total Genesis sales

The relevancy is that as long as the G70, G80 and G90 sell in sufficient nos. in Korea and the US, Hyundai will continue to invest in those models.

YTD Genesis sales in Korea - 55,000

A little behind MB, but ahead of BMW in Korea.

But to put things in context, the entire Genesis lineup is nearly doubled in sales by the Hyundai Grandeur (previous gen known as the Azera here) alone.
