  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Can anybody tell me which bank is on what side of the car? Bank 1, is that Driver's side or Passenger's side?

Year of car and which sensors? Bank 1 Sensor 1, or Bank 1 Sensor 2? V6 or V8?

2012 3.8. And it doesn't matter Sensor 1 or Sensor 2. One's upstream, one's downstream.

From what I've read, it looks like Bank 1 is the passenger's side.

That must have changed (Sensor 1 or 2 not mattering). My 2010 has different length wiring for each rear bank which is why I asked.

Bank 1 is the passenger side in the V8:

I'm thinking the V6 is the same way. I just had to replace the downstream O2 sensor on the passenger side.

On 2013 Hyundai Genesis sedan 3.8 bank 1 is on passenger side and there are different sensors on the upstream and the lower O2 sensor are the same.
