OBD2 Connection - ELM 327 Bluetooth - Tourqe Android App

I have 2012 3.8 Genesis sedan, and I have been trying to hook up this Bluetooth OBD2 device ([ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004KL0I9I/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00) and paired it with this Android app called Tourqe (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.prowl.torque#?"]404 Looking for Something?[/ame]).

I am having difficulty with connecting the phone/app with the Bluetooth device, spend 90 mins on this and almost went crazy. I have a friend test out the ELM 327 Bluetooth on his Subaru Forester to make sure that the Bluetooth dongle is not defective. It is working fine on his Subaru.

Anyone out there has any success with ELM 327 Bluetooth on their Genesis? Please help me stay sane, please! Thanks!

i have the exact same adapter on my 2010 3.8 and i am running the same app on my android. everything works fine. possibly a bent pin in the OBD2 port on your gen???

I've not tried it but I have taken a quick look into them and what they do.
