Octane rating

Hello, newbie question here. I recently got the coupe r-spec 3.8 and I was doing some digging online and in the owner's manual, and perhaps I just missed it but does anyone know what the maximum octane rating is? And will running it on lower octane (87, 88) damage the engine?

Owners manual will include recommend octane, so you definitely missed it. IIRC it should be 91 recommended but you can run 87. The question of "will running a lower octane damage my engine" has been asked and answered a million times all over the internet for every car ever made
