Has anybody checked the odometer against expressway mileage markers? Just looking for something to do whilst cruising an empty expressway I noticed my odometer was reading less the the mile markers. After 12 miles it seemed to be way off, about a third of a mile. I will check it next time I'm on a expressway for a longer stretch.

Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message

Getting familiar with the group...
could be the mile markers were off, they aren't designed to be 100% accurate but just a ballpark estimation of what mile of freeway you are on when speaking to the Highway Patrol or 911. I know in SC there is tolerance of 2,000 feet when erecting the signs..who knows what your states is, i'd check the DOT website.
