  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi...
How many of you fellow 4.6L drivers have experienced increasing tire noise? I have about 19500 miles on my 2009 4.6L 18 inch Dunlops...and have noticed the tire noise getting progressively worse from about 15000 miles. A friend had a similair issue on his 2009...and finally replaced them. He complained to Hyundai via his local dealer and was given $400 check to help off set the replacement cost.

The noise sounds like I have blocky mud-bog truck tires on....the noise is terrible and getting louder with time.

I am looking at either Michlens or Goodyears to replace the Dunlops. The Dunlops are poor tires in my opinion. Why Hyundai didn't spec Michlen or similiar is beyond me.
Thanks in advnace for your feedback.

Agreed. Many threads already discussing this. Giving my .02, I'd sway away from Mich's and the Goodforayear's.
