Officially in the Club

So, car finally arrived and officially part of the club.

I am coming from a 2018 340i M Sport Package that I was mid-project on pre-accident.



My back is dead, can’t even golf for a year due to surgery I’m going to need, but I’m going to be posting photos and starting a YouTube channel for my journey with the G70 since this will be my main hobby now. I’ve seen a ton of great G70 content, but I am hoping to go in a bit more detail with no edits in terms of struggles and potential pitfalls. I come from a drag racing and super bike background.

I have already installed new paddle shifters and done the LED rear turn signal and reverse light install. I will be doing most of the projects with my 7 year old daughter hoping she gets the speed bug as well.

Silver with a pre-existing “smoke-chrome” delete. I wanted to go matte black as the accent, but I will probably save most of the major cosmetic upgrades for last after the performance changes:

JB4 Speed Package (JB4, cold air intake, plugs)
Exhaust (full catless)
Velossa LIT Ram Air
Rim change and spacers
New Tires

Hey, how does the M340i compare to the Genesis? I'm especially curious about cabin noise levels stock... if you can remember. Ha ha. But also handling and ride. You do have the 3.3T, correct? I much prefer the G70 3.3T SP, but can't find any, so might have to consider the BMW. After my new M3 V8 needing a new engine, I vowed to never buy a BMW again, but that was over a decade ago, so might consider one again. Good luck with your project. Take care.
