Just went in for a test drive, walked out with a 3.8 RWD Ultimate. Black on Black, super practical for those hot Texas summers.

Had been following the car, read all the reviews, saw all the videos, but was still pretty surprised when I got behind the wheel. Also a 5 time BMW driver. Last 3 being 5 series.

Insane value.

Welcome! You have impeccable taste. Seriously, I don't think there's a better looking car out there for less than $70k - maybe not even then.

We've got 1900 miles on ours in just a little over two weeks and we're going on a little road trip of probably 1500 miles later this week and I can't wait. I'm completely addicted to this car and can't get enough of it.

Another bit of info that someone may find useful, it synced right up with my Windows 8.1 phone. Nokia Lumia 1020. Phone and streaming music work great. I have not plugged in the USB port yet.

Mine is Parisian Gray with black upholstery. Living here in Texas, I started out by saying I would not accept black leather. When I saw it, though, I saw that it is not shiny black, but rather a grayish black and I fell head over heels with the car. I have not found the black leather to be especially hot compared with the cashmere in my 2009. The driver's seat cooling did not work well in the 2009 and the ventilated seat in the 2015 even feels cooler.

Now, as to black paint? No way. I don't keep a car clean enough for black paint.

I liked Parisian and waffled back and forth, but the black looked so good to me it one out. I have had a lot of beige interiors over the years, they really show scuff marks and dirt on the seats, so I am hoping the black interior is a little easier to keep looking good.

There are not a lot of 3.8 Ultimates in North Texas, they told me I pretty much needed to pick white, black or grey if I was set on an Ultimate. I really liked the Ibiza blue from the photos I had seen, but the closest one was in Mississippi.

Mine is also a Parisian grey with black interior ultimate here in Texas originally wanted Ibiza blue but none available east of California.

Drove a empire state grey with ivory interior wife did not like light interior I thought it looked great with black piping and wood.

Now just have to await delivery to dealer this week.

Going to try a youtube review when it arrives.
