  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

This dealership services Thousand Oaks, Agoura, Newbury Park, Conejo Valley. They recently purchased the dealership from Ladin Hyundai/Subaru. Which had to spin out Genesis per the Corporate Policy to Genesis it's own Brick and Mortar. They do not have concierge service/Valet service (they use Uber for pickup and drop off), They did not have Loaner Cars Available when I brought my 2017 G90 in for routine service. The car developed problems shortly after the service and Annual Map update (see other posting). I found out that they did not follow Genesis Corporate policy in reporting and resolving issues. They delayed the start of trouble shooting 1 week and would not provide a car rental until Genesis corporate offered to underwrite the rental up to 40 dollars a day (Enterprise: got a dirty Toyota Camery). They did eventually provide me with a G80 loaner after I complained to both Corporate and the Dealership about the Camery loaner.

The staff has been pleasent, but management doesn't return phone calls and they suffer from adequate personnel to fully staff the front office and from what I can see the service area as well. The place looks basically abandoned when I've been there. From my view point, the dealership falls short of taking the responsibility for problem resolution.

I agree with everything you said. I would definitely not return to them for service. They refused to do my map update because of the problems they had with yours. But they still made me wait three hours. Nothing to eat, just a coffee machine. They pointed me at a shopping center 1/2 mile away and to me to walk. Finally after they finished and I was driving home I noticed the nav did not get updated. They “forgot” to mention that when I got the car and it was not noted on the work order. Just really lax on all counts.
