  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So I installed a Moroso catch can on my 2013 5.0 Genesis and I had a issue with a flickering oil light that would only happen right as I was coming to a standstill but would go away as I pulled off.
Now I connected my catch can to both of the vent holes in the front of the valve cover L & R. I did notice that after connecting the CC the one hose would slightly collapse because it was under negative pressure.
Can someone enlighten me as to what i did wrong if anything or maybe show me a pic of their setup.
Thanks in advance!!

Pretty sure you should only connect to the one line that goes to the PCV valve. The other line allows air to flow into the crank case so that the line on the PCV side can vacuum it out. Sounds like you are pulling from both lines and there is no place for air to come into the crank case causing the other line to collapse.

I never thought of that. Thanks I will look into it!!

That is correct. The only thing I may have done differently is not have the line going from the PCV valve to the can inlet drop so far down. Seems like it might cause the oil to pool in that location instead of making it to the catch can. Your call

@NSXNEXT I connected the other line on the driver's side of the block that's connected to the intake because I found oil was coming out of that line as well. I never considered it might be a closed system..
