Here is my oil change breakdown from the dealer
1 21513 230021 Gasket, Oil $ 0.97
1 26320 3C250 Service Kit $12.31 Filter? I guess so
6 Litres 000HC 5W20S 5W20 Synthetic $56.04
1 Labor $12.95
1 Supplies $ 1.94
1 Enviromental Fee $ 3.95
Tax $13.22
Total $101.38 CDN (APPrx $65.89 USD)
The Manual, in Section 7, Page 8 "Engine oil and filter EVERY 6,000 Kms or 6 Months"
To correct my original post, 5w20 Synthetic is used, not 0W20 as I indicated
I'm glad I checked the bill, the Oil required with filter replacement is 5.20 Litres, I'm dinged for 6 litres, trivial I suppose.
This is a replaced under Warranty engine/transmission, Cost $16,000 CDN incl labor at
48,000 Miles (79,000 Kms) $100.00 and the dealer doing the work is worth it if anything happens down the road to the new engine/transmission. i hope as they do the work they are looking around and checking things visually for things that may need corrected or can be prevented.
