Book price on the fob itself is $230, but you can buy off the internet for $100 or less. The trick is getting it programmed. If you find a local shop that can do it... perfect. Otherwise, dealer service dept is you surest bet. How much they charge will likely vary. Some will no doubt rake you over the coals for it.

Kia Stinger only came with 1 key fob. I called around my area and the best answer I got was "we
should be able to program it". Sure I can get the fob from an online seller at a discount, but if I have no assurance that I can get it programmed, it might end up being an expensive paperweight. I call my local Kia dealer, and they quoted me book price on the fob of around $200. They wanted $95 for programming it. I figure $300 for a replacement fob isn't too bad, so that's what I did.
BTW, the Kia dealer quoted me another $100 for a mechanical key cut to my
VIN #. I said, no thanks. I just bought blank keys off a Korean direct seller for cheap. I could probably get it cut to match my existing key at a local locksmith, but of all my cars had/have remote keyless start, I have used their mechanical keys exactly ZERO times. So, no big hurry to get it done. Besides, it's for a backup fob anyway.
