  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

We really loved our 2010 4.6 Tech, but the winters here were just no fun for us so we traded it in for a 2013 Honda Accord Touring, which is kinda like a baby Genesis 'cept it's FWD. We figured that when Genesis offered an AWD we'd take a look at it and see what happens.

Anyway, we got to borrow one for the weekend from our dealer a couple of weeks ago and that settled it. Wow! They had to go to Indiana to find one for us, but it worked out and we picked up our 2015 black on black HTRAC Ultimate a week ago.

The changes made collectively in the last few model years were pretty hard to ignore - everything's better except the price and the fuel consumption and even that's not bad considering what you're getting.

IMO, this car is the best executed car I've ever had. I have no sense of anything cheapened or any corners that have been cut. I haven't found any flaws and I've really looked. IMO, this should be the car that really puts Genesis on the map. Try one out if you haven't already - I don't think you'll be disappointed.

PS: Pics are linked in my sig for anyone who's interested.

The New York Times agrees with you.

Re: One Week Old

Found my first gripe tonight while driving into the setting sun. The frame around the HUD reflects in the windshield in a distracting way. That frame should be made matte black rather than the current smooth plastic.

Chuck: Beautiful scenery and beautiful car. Love the pics!

Great pics. Thanks for sharing...

Very nice, beautiful setting and home!

Thanx, but not my home (Thank goodness!) . Just the Comfort station at a local park. My home isn't that grand. :)

Well you must live in a nice neighborhood, because that's one helluva nice public brick $#*thouse.

Grats on the car, it's BEEE YUUU TEEE FULLL!!!

Yeah I mentioned this in one of the dislikes, it's very annoying at times when the sun hits it. At night I've noticed the same issue if you have the HUD brightness turned up too much, it catches a partial reflection of the frame off of the glass.

Can a non-reflective type tape be added to fix this?

That is something I'm going to try when I have time. It should at least minimize the reflection.

A minor gripe, but this is something Hyundai should have noticed and corrected.

If you do, can you snap a picture of the location where you placed it?
