Not so. It is one screen.

I believe it is two screens, just seamlessly connected with zero bezel inside one panel, so it gives the effect of one screen. You can tell when the vehicles powers on that the screens light up individually.

I have a 2026 GV70 Electrified, and it has a single panel with no separation. When it's in the map or navigation view, it's a single view.

That's correct, but I believe it's two screens behind the "one panel", they are just seamless and don't have any bezels.

I completely agree, and I also have an IT background/love tech. For some reason people are obsessed with touch screens now. The more screens...the more luxurious. I am happy the screen isn't very close in the gen1 model. It's a perfect distance and doesn't block the windshield, and gives the interior some awesome styling. Very similar to our Mazda CX-5. Very few car manufactures have the screen positioned just right. Maybe add Acura to the list...

I specifically purchased a 2025 GV70 so it wouldn't have the combo large screen. We had GV80 Coupe for a bit which had the larger screen, and I regretted it. The new screen is incredibly reflective, even though it's really nice to look at. I am sure there will be some OLED burn-in complaints at some point too. It is cool that they put 2 panels seamlessly together inside one screen, can't even tell it's really 2 different ones until you're powering on/off the vehicle.

Using the infotainment control wheel is safer, and it's intuitive enough that the touch screen aspect never needs to be used. Even can be used as a trackpad. Touch screens are honestly pretty dangerous to use in a vehicle. No different than looking at your phone. It seems these touchscreens just bypass "operating phones in a vehicle" laws. Without physical buttons, people are going to be reaching over, touching areas on the screen, not hitting the correct spot, looking again, and then end up in a ditch.

The only thing I miss that the gen2 vehicles have are the Android Auto/CarPlay display on the HUD, and the wrap around interior lighting...and I guess the exterior headlights.

I also love the vents that are hidden within the silver trim, and the fact that the silver trim wraps around the entire interior quite seamlessly, even flowing around the cluster. The gen2 vents have such odd placement...

I love the 27-inch OLED panel in my 2026 GV70 Electrified Prestige. It seems that the GV70 has a different panel compared to the GV80, as I have not experienced any reflection issues. The display is also superior to my 2024 GV70 Electrified Prestige, which features a 14-inch pop-up screen. I often receive compliments on the interior and screen from people who sit in the vehicle. My daughter even noted that the windshield appears wider because the 14-inch pop-up screen doesn't obstruct the view. I use the controller, and the 27-panel is positioned closer to the drive for users who prefer using the touchscreen.

It's a matter of personal preference, but my 2026 model stands out with improved ride quality and interior design. The seats provide enhanced comfort, and the steering wheel feels great to hold. The Bang & Olufsen stereo is also much better sounding.

I did notice one minor detail about the panel. When the vehicle widget is displayed between the gauges or widgets, activating the blinkers or hazards or pressing the brake pedal will show the blinkers on the vehicle's screen. This is a cool feature that my 2024 model did not have.

For future improvements to the GV70 Electrified, I would like to see a larger battery and a version built on a dedicated electric vehicle (EV) platform. It would also be great if the US version had the same features as the Korean version. I was looking forward to the digital rearview mirror, but unfortunately, it was omitted from the US version.

I haven't experienced any reflection issues with mine, and the 14-inch screen will not work in 2026 due to the speaker placement now.

My 2 cents: 2026 Gv70 2.5 Sport Prestige

SOFTWARE: I use speedometer/tachometer view. I should be able to view the trip computer widgets in this mode. Its silly to block
SOFTWARE: Walk-Away automatic locking. It should be up to the customer to turn on/off, and not Genesis to decide for us. I had it on my 208 Accord touring so it's been out for years. Can Genesis provide any evidence that this is a real safety issue?
SOFTWARE: Display a popup to block the touch display until it is 100% ready for user input.

INTERIOR: Soft seat backs for the benefit of taller passengers
INTERIOR: Loose the Chrome trim where the shifter/dials are located. HUGE reflector of light.
INTERIOR: Consider wood trim like older Genesis models had.
INTERIOR: Almost no one uses the fingerprint reader as it is a nuisance. Let the owner decide what features will be associated
INTERIOR: Don't ask for a pin unless multiple attempts to use the reader fail.
INTERIOR: Include a real square glove box with a shelf. Allow the glove box to be locked. The current one does not exude luxury.
INTERIOR: All versions of the Sport Prestige should have all the same features available. For example, I should be able to get or add a heads up display to the 2.5T. Not everyone wants a 6 cylinder engine so don't punish us.
INTERIOR: Don't block the ability to save seat settings while the car is in motion. It's not a safety feature.

ENGINE: Fix the rough idle at start
ENGINE: ECO mode seems to have too much power so I doubt it is truly ECO.
