  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Opinion on price for "new" demo 2013 3.8 with Tech

I will drive the 2015, but I'll only be teasing myself....you enjoy yours as well. Thanks.

Thanks all for the advice! They said the best they can do is 33,782.. thanks but not thanks.

Back to the drawing board, and will be taking all of your advice. My goal is under 30k, even if it's $29,999 for a new 2013 3.8 Tech. Do you think this is realistic?

Where are you located? In Socal that should not be difficult. I got 29k, 33k OTD so just keep trying. Call ahead of time and look at online inventory and be firm on price.

BCoon: what part of the country are you in?

My old dealer , in Virginia , has a new 2014 on lot with Tech & Premium currently @ $36,485. that is about $9000 off sticker. Not sure if you are in the mid Atlantic area.:welcome:

There is a black/cashmere 2013 Tech in Denver, brand new, that is gettable for about $11K off sticker ($44,740 MSRP, includes mats, etc.). If you made an offer of $29,999.....I know the guy you should talk to.

Recent ending to an email chain after they said $34,046 is the lowest they can go on new 2013 3.8 Tech:

We searched out dealers in a 500 mile radius, and there aren't many 2013s left anywhere. The sales price runs from $ 8000 to $ 12,000 off everywhere we looked. If dealers say they are doing $ 15k off, most of them are lying as the facts don't back it up. If you can't justify saving $ 10,500 plus tax savings of an additional $1000 give or take, then don't buy one.

I sent you a PM. I can still catch some snow at A-Basin this time of year so it may be a good excuse to check this out if it's legit.
