  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey guys.

I was wondering if this looked okay?

If you see the left tail is tinted to the lightest ( photoshop lol ) and matte vinyl of the chrome parts on the rear. Gives it a little bit of a meaner look. Just wanted to see if this looked okay? ( photoshop as well ) I know everyone has different taste....just wanted to see what other people thought about this :P

Is not a cheap job to do....as the guy is trying to charge me around 300 with the tails

I was watching some videos and i was surprised that they weren't spraying water or something before and after the application.....you know like those iphone cover kind of thing?

Do you know which method should be applied? I'm considering doing them myself like you said.....would save me a lottttttttttttt of money :P

It depends. If the vinyl has a smooth back, it is a wet apply vinyl (tinting taillights would be a form of wet apply) if the back has little air channels/is rough, it is a dry apply vinyl
