  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I wonder how many of us are original owners who love our first-generation Genesis and plan to keep it for years to come. I purchased my 2009 model in July 2009 and have 44,000 miles to date. I absolutely love the car. It's a 3.8 w/o factory navigation. The only changes I'd make would be to replace the original radio, if possible with a unit that is Apple Carplay capable.

You can count me in.

I bought my 2011 4.6 V8 on November 15, 2012. It was "manager's demo", had 6,000 miles on odometer, but it was never titled, so I am an original owner with full OEM warranty. Now have 86,200 miles and plan to keep it.

Bought my '09 in January 2009 4.6 w/tech package - currently at 66,000 miles. This is a great car and sounds lovely with a Borla exhaust which keeps me from buying something different since N/A V8's are getting pretty rare for luxury vehicles.

Purchased our 2011 4.6 with tech pkg. new in October 2010. Drive it to over 220,000 miles. Loved the car and still miss it. Genny was replaced with a 2017 Highlander limited Platinum in Aug 2017.

I just installed the Borla catback a week ago. The Borla on the 4.6 does sound lovely.
