OTA updates for 2022+?

I just picked up a used 2022 3.3 to keep my GV60 company. The car is almost a year old but only has 3000 miles and I don't believe the map and software have ever been updated. I set up the connected services and it recognized me in the car, but I don't get any option to trigger OTA updates. If I press on update it says to insert a USB.

Do either the system or the maps update OTA? If not how do I do it?

Great car, but ironically it is strange getting used to an ICE car again.

You need to do it via USB. I don't believe our vehicles even have modems for that, and mine is a '23, but they wouldn't be active for that even if present anyway. But it's not hard at all once you know 3 things: Use a 64Gb USB3.0 stick formatted as 'EXFAT', you have to continue as 'guest' when you vehicle is not found (none are), and you need to download the update directly to the USB stick, instead of the computer's hard-drive, like instructions say. So before even downloading the updater from the Genesis website, make sure your empty and formatted USB stick is already inserted, and it'd be the default storage option. Hope this helps.
