  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Other cool cars like the G70

lol

I like how "Integra" is pasted in big bold letters just so people don't confuse it with the Civic it's based on. Acura is laughing all the way to the bank.
It's quite sad seeing Honda go from cars like the original NSX and the S2000 to this stuff. Honda literally makes zero interesting cars. Sorry the FWD Civic Type R is not interesting.

New Integra looks like a smaller Honda Crosstour to me. I've had a few Acura's in the past but nothing in their lineup is desirable to me. Sure the NSX but for that money Id probably opt for something else.

yawn. that Integra, as much as i loved the originals when i was a kid, is neither cool nor is it like the G70. people will buy them, for sure, but not enthusiasts.

Ahem. A review of the G70 Stinger. I actually am really liking the seats in that.

I watched a car in my side-mirror hustling in and out of lanes to catch up and ultimately pass me on Mopac in Austin yesterday, and lo and behold it was new TLX Type S. This was a dark color, possibly matte black or charcoal, but it's a nice looking car, especially from the front and sides. I feel like the back is a bit of a let-down. The driver was definitely hauling donkey; I was hovering around 10 over and they still flew past me. I was going to catch up and have a little fun but there was a little too much late-afternoon traffic and my Spider Senses were in full caution mode yesterday for whatever reason.

C&D updated their 2022 G80 Sport review with the numbers and it's fast. 0-60 is identical to a 540i and it runs the quarter mile faster than both the 5 and A6. Only car that's truly faster is the E450 which appears to be in another dimension compared to the rest of the group

If a 4500 pound car can go this fast then the TLX Type S really has no excuse.

(Warning: Faux Outrage Incoming) BMW Stole Siberian Ice!!!

^ payback for all the subtle things Hyundai has ripped off over the years…LOL

lol true. But does that not look identical to Siberian Ice? Are my 50-year-old eyes failing me?

This is why the internal combustion engine is doomed.

It's amazing how small cars were 20 years ago... that M5 was considered a mid size... lol I think the current 3 series might be bigger.

That's for sure. Look at how the Civic has grown, I think it's bigger than the old Accords.
I love the size of my '98 E36 M3 sedan. It's just right and feels much more nimble than today's 3 series. At around 3100 pounds it's nearly 800lbs lighter than my G70!

^ meh. but it's true. only the enthusiasts will care, i suppose. i recently drove my buddy's Model S P95D w/Ludicrous+. savage acceleration. i've driven fast cars but there's nothing like it. what you get is an uninterrupted wall of torque and G force. i believe we saw 1.1 or maybe even 1.2 G of acceleration. but we all know that, it's been said time and again. it hits a wall as the speeds climb, but not until way high.

that said, it feels like an appliance - albeit a crazy fast and expensive one. no soul. steering was meh as well. range is an issue for him since they do road trips, so they now have to adjust their travel plans.

my buddy traded in his '19 C63S for the Model S and he regrets the decision for many reasons, except for the crazy fuel savings. i regret it too - i had told him i'd buy his C63S!
