  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Well, it just popped up out of nowhere and we both got notifications on our phones.
SWMBO was driving the car and saw the CEL light appear.
Did a little research and decided to book it in ASAP in case the "trick" didnt work.
The trick was.... check/clean the gascap seal then go fill it up (with the motor off!) and tighten the gas cap with a couple of clicks..
Success! It cleared right after I moved off the gas station forecourt.
Now the Genesis App still shows it, so will stop by the dealer next time we are in the area to have them clear it.

Glad the gas cap trick worked! The app often lags behind. Just swing by any auto parts store they can clear that stored code for free in two minutes, no dealer trip needed.
