  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So title. Got this today while driving. I had the auxiliary canister installed at the dealership a little less than a month ago.

Has anyone had problems with the auxiliary canister? Or is it possible they just forgot to connect something back.

Any replies appreciated!

Sounds like the new canister is bad or leaking, or some hose or other part was not reinstalled properly. I'm waiting for a call from my local Hyundai dealer that the back ordered part is available.

Thanks for the reply! That is what I suspect. I’m gonna call the dealership tomorrow and see when I can get it in for them to look at.

Update: the code was actually p0256, which means small leak. P0257 means large leak. I made a typo in the title.

Anyways took it to the dealer today and they said the canister gasket seal got punched while they were doing it last time. They fixed it and now I am on my way.

Man the negligence and incompetence these days in every industry is terrible.
