  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Picked up the car not quite two weeks ago, just noticed this paint imperfection on the gas lid. Not terribly noticeable unless you look closely but this seems unacceptable for something on the flagship Hyundai model.
Build date is May 30 2015.
Would you complain or accept this as a minor imperfection?

Well, easy to order a replacement, and bolt it on. Sounds like a warranty issue to me.

If you can order a pre-painted replacement in exact matching color - I'd go for it in a second, even if I had to pay for it.

My usual remedy for this sort of thing is to wait two weeks, and I usually get over it. If you really want problems, start checking door alignments. My driver's side door has a slight misalignment with the pillar at the bottom. Almost all cars have this sort of thing if you look hard enough, though.

No big deal, really. But I am kind of Anal myself so, I would push it and get the flap replaced. They do promote their 1000.000 mile warranty. What would M.B. do?
