  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anybody know how to change a parking light bulb? Does the bumper cover have to come off?
Thanks….Rob

Hey man, thank you so much for posting this question!

Which one would you consider a "parking light bulb"?

Both the front headlamp housing and rear combination lamp housing can be removed without having to take off their respective bumper covers.

This is exactly what I've been looking for for the last couple of weeks. I'm so disappointed that your question is yet to be answered! I never thought that changing a parking light bulb would be such a pain in the ass, lol. I guess I'll have to seek help from some professionals, as there's always this risk of making a costly mistake. The guys from Vont Smart Car Light Strip have recently installed a cool strip light in my car, so I'll probably ask for their help. Cheers!

For the rear just take the felt lining off, plug and play

Gunk,

Your diagram does not show parking light bulb that is located under turn signal bulb (13). I attached picture.
My bulb on the passenger side went out.

Thanks for posting that. I'll know not to always trust my 2009 Shop Manual from now on

FWIW..On my 2009 V6, I had to remove the bumper cover in order to be able to remove the headlights which then gave me access to the parking light bulb.
