  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Recently my 2012 R-Spec is blinking green in the center bumper even when the parkng assist is off. It usually happens when i am braking down to an idle even when there is nothing in front of me. This has become a constant thing. Like I said it flashes green instead of the red and makes a alarm noise different than the parking alarm.

It's probably faulty. Take it to the dealer and have them fix it (warranty).

If it's intermittent, then take a video of it on your phone first, then show the video to the service writer if they can't reproduce it while you're there.

Video documentation was acceptable to my service rep today. Being replaced but requires removal of front bumper.

Mine did the same thing.

Problem with the center fail, is that there are two sensors that can be bad. Figuring out which one is the problem. If the failure is active upon start up, it's best to drive it to the dealer before shutting it down so they can pull the code. That system does not store any faults, so once the car is off, the codes go away until the car does a self-check upon engine start the next time.

My issue was intermittent, so it wouldn't come up every time I started the car. Ended up being the right-front sensor.

Right front for me also. No codes but they claim they detected faulty wiring.
