parking sensors reset

something happened with my parking sensors on my 09 genesis tech 4.6 and now the little car on the display just shows all the lines around the car light up and they are not working is there a way i can reset it myself or do I have to take it to the dealer?
 
Dealer fix. Although you might try disconnecting the battery for about 3 minutes then reconnect which should reset componets that can be reset.

I am having the same or similar issue. Did disconnecting the battery reset the sensors. Thanks.
