  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Two weeks ago my passenger window would not open. They couldn't figure it out and needed my car for the long weekend. The dealership hooked me up in a Sante Fe which worked out for my trip to cottage country. Hyundai knew I wasn't happy and they reached out to apologize and confirm my mailing address. Not sure why but I gave it to them expecting a pen or travel mug. I got the pen.....and something else that made my jaw drop.

This is awesome!!

sometimes I cannot get the passenger side rear window to work. I wonder if I need to have that looked at. It works most times but on occasion it won't. I sometimes think I locked it or something, then boom it goes down. I don;t use it much but it is a concern.

I thought so as well!

Good grief! Are you sure? Did they fix the window? That was very considerate. Was it from the dealer or corporate?

Yup, fixed 100%. They ordered and installed a new power window module/switch. The gift was from corporate.

That's the one. Just that this one has the Hyundai engraving on the back.

That's pretty cool

Agreed!

Get it replaced by the dealership. If it happens on occasion, just video record it on your phone. I've done that before with other cars just in case things "work" when I bring the car in.

Mine does the same! I just keep fiddling with it, up/ down and then after a few tries, it starts working.

Driver side rear. The driver side did it once too. That time nothing I did would make it work. Got home, turned the car off and started it up next day and it worked right. Hasn't happened to the driver side since then. The driver side rear window, however, continues to test my patience once in a while!
