I have seen a lot of comments in other threads about Genesis dealerships and people's experiences with them. I am beginning to think my dealership is an oddity because it's actually a really good dealership. I have been going there for car and maintenance since 2011. I bought 3 Hyundai's from them and now my Genesis. I have yet to have a bad experience with them. The sales group has always treated me well. They are professional and low pressure. And they listen to what I want. Finance always gives me the best deal they can find. And the service department is outstanding. Their prices are cheaper than anywhere else in the area. I can't do an oil change myself for what they charge. And if they tell me it will take 45 minutes to service my car, it takes 45 minutes or less. If they go over the time they gave me, they come to the customer lounge and tell me why. Anyway, I am just curious about other people's experience with their dealerships and why mine seems to be so different.

Your experience is not unique, although it does appear that during this transition there are far too many dealerships operating at a level that doesn't align with expectations for the brand. I use Genesis of Atlanta not because they're convenient, which they aren't, but because they already operate in a manner that goes well above what more convenient locations do. They are attentive, pleasant, and seem genuinely interested in doing what they do.
