  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

We finally did it. Purchased the 2010 w/ prem Nav package. Very nice. Only problem so far is my wife won't give up the keys to let me drive. Since we live in Michigan I have snow tires coming Tuesday from tire rack. Stock tires didn't perform that well during test drive.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Congratulations!.

The Dunlops are not suited for snow, slush or ice.

As they are not summer tires they don't offer the best grip in dry warm weather either.

Since putting winter tires on (live in MN) I haven't had any problems with snow up to about 8 inches. More than that and the front end becomes a plow.

Wally brings up a very good point. A lot of new cars are set much lower to the ground, for aerodynamic/gas mileage reasons. 98% of the time this is a good thing. But ground clearance becomes an issue in: deep snow, driveways (slowly), trying to jack the car using a trolley jack.

The Genesis is quite low for a stock sedan. I first thought the cars had aftermarket springs installed. But it came like that STOCK. I was shocked (happy). Part of the reason why it looks so good on the roads.
