  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So, I took my Genesis on it's first road trip this weekend and drove down to Sacramento. While I was in the area I decided to check out Euro Sunday which was being held nearby. It was a nice, but fairly small gathering of cars (not all of which are European FWIW).

A few of my favorites? Definitely the Porsche GT3 RS, the Aston Martin Vantage, and the tiny Fiat. I've never seen one in person before and didn't quite grasp how small they are (smaller than the Smart car parked next to it). I also got quite a few people checking out my Genesis while I was there (a couple guys even gave me compliments), which was unexpected. I guess not all Euro car enthusiasts are badge snobs afterall. ;) Overall, an enjoyable event. I'll have to check it out when they come to my neck of the woods again (Reno). Anyway, onto the pics. My sincerest apologies for the quality of some of the shots (I really don't care for my digital camera). There were lots of people in the way so some of them had to be taken from a distance.

Sweet pics! any thoughts after your roadtrip on your Genesis? I'd love to hear your feedback. Im considering taking mine from St Louis to Chicago for the Genesis test drive in October.

General impressions:

-Power is effortless (even at elevations up to 7000')
-It's FAR too easy to go 80mph without realizing it
-The 15-speaker Lexicon audio system rocks! I don't know how the 17-speaker system could be much better honestly.
-The seats are quite comfy, but I still wish for better lateral support

....and that's about it so far. :)

Nice pictures! They came out fine. :)

My heart is still with the Masserati's. The DB9 is awesome but not real practical in USA. Great Pics!!

the plate of red ferrari is funny. "why work". that means the owner doesn't have any reason to work?.. whoa~ what a lucky guy!

What's funnier is that he's not the only one! His place is "WHY WURK" meaning "WHY WORK" must have been taken. Granted, California is a big state.

Either way, it must be nice! ;)

The most successful people in the world don't seem to work... They make their money early on and let the residuals earn them their living...
