  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

nice! there was a white gen on here who had the same rims too

Black chrome? I like.

Am I the only one that can't view pictures when people put them in the post?

All I get is a white box with a X in the upper left hand corner.

What's up with that?

Viewing from work? Probably a firewall....

Don't get me wrong. If you're happy with the look, awesome for you! Asking for public feedback, mine is just not that complementary.

I guess I'm just old and don't care for a look that (to my eye) appears overweighted to the wheel versus the tire sidewall. That's what I see here.

However, I also know that few would likely like what I've done for winter rims and buying a base 3.8.

:(

When I saw the title of the post about 22 rims I started to laugh, but actually these really look pretty good on the Genesis. Gratz.

The look I like, however, 22's with that small sidewall are not going to give the car a good ride. I just bought a new 2011 Genny 4.6 and it had 22's on it. Dealer had put them on for a local auto show. I drove it like that for almost 2 weeks. Hated it. Drove like garbage. Vibration in steering wheel and felt every little crack in road. If you hit a large pot hole good luck. The dealer put the stock 18's on for me and the car rides like a dream. I am thinking about maybe going to 20's myself. Nothing bigger.

Thanks for your opinions everyone! The ride actually isn't that bad, IMO. Losing those crap Dunlop stock tires was a blessing for sure. Steering is more responsive now as well. I smoked the tailights this weekend, added a little wax as well. I had someone ask me if it was a Bentley the other day at the car wash...

Vibration? Don't think they balanced those correctly. I'm used to a rougher ride, so it's no biggie to me. But the factory suspension will be part of your reason as well.

LOL. I seem to get that alot as well. If you keep going, we might be twinkies. :D Except, I didn't go that dark with the smoked taillights.

Looks good ! Any rubbing issues in the front turning or in the rear when u have people in the back ? Also what size rubber u end up putting on it ?

good question. what size tires did you go with? and why 22's over 20's?

Sorry... ugly. Looks ghetto

IMHO 22s are too big on the genesis. Glad you went with something more subtle like black chrome though

Those would look awesome on an R-Spec
