Pinch or slide electrical clips? replacing crankshaft position sensor

I am replacing my sensor and I don't want to break my clip. Its the typical looking Genesis clip with a blue plastic piece on one side. I have the sensor out but I cant get the clip off. Does it pinch top to bottom or does that blue plastic piece slide to allow the clip to disengage?

Did you ever complete this replacement? Wondering whether or not you had to do a relearn procedure after installing the new crankshaft position sensor.

No re-learn needed and it did resolve my random stalling issue.

Sadly replacing the sensor did not resolve my stalling issue. Here comes the money pit.

I needed to see this before I replaced mine but luckily it worked just by pushing tab and not sliding blue tab
