Pixel 8 Pro Not (yet) working with digital key

I just upgraded from a Pixel 7 Pro to a Pixel 8 Pro and could not get the digital key to work with the 8 - even though it passes the compatibility check. I completely deleted the 7 from the system and tried to set up the 8 to no avail (a recursive loop of hell). Just to try I re-set up the Pixel 7 and it worked fine... Guess we'll have to wait for an update from Genesis - but for now back to the FOB for me.

I hear it's an issue with the pixel 8 not being allowed to use digital keys yet. Check out the bmw forum about it where Google support says it's a pixel 8 issue.

Same happened with the Fold. Google actually removed the code for it post release. As of today, it's been added back to the 14 Beta (latest release). I can now enroll my Fold which I did about 20min ago. Hopefully if the 8/8Pro isn't finalized yet, it will be soon.

I have been trying for a couple days to get my Pixel 8 Pro registered with DK2 to no avail. Hopefully an update is coming soon.

UPDATE: Yesterday I noticed Google's site listed P8P as compatible. I successfully enrolled today. I have yet to try it out tho.

Update: updated Google wallet today. Updated permissions. And boom it synced.

For the last week I have been having issues with DK2. My Pixel 8 Pro is not seeing the GV60. A couple days ago I deleted and setup DK2. Again today no dice.
