I am considering plasti dipping my titanium genesis 4.6 rims with black plasti dip spray. If you are unfamiliar with plasti dip in automotive uses just google it or look on youtube.
I wanted to hear some opinions on the matter. has anyone else done so or tried? I'm thinking i'll do it in a step wise fashion by removing the center wing inserts and seeing how it looks with blacked outer wheel and normal insert. if i'm unhappy with that, then i'll spray the center inserts but not the wing emblems.
another potential application in the future would be plasti dipping the nonchrome portions of the grill though that would be annoyingly labor intensive. they have also released a plasti dip smoke product that could be used to darken the tail light assemblies.
its all very intriguing to me and opens up a lot of cheap DIY possibilities.
