plastic tube in trunk

I have a US V6 AWD built in Oct 2014. No insulation on mine.
 
Conclusion: nobody has insulation but srobak - and he's not talking.

Anyway, it looks like a very professional job - and a good idea.

If you bought it new and it came that way - then it came that way. Don't complain. Again - it's a good idea.

I wish mine had the extra shielding.
 
I do not have the heat shield either. i have v6 htrac. I also looked again and I do not have the white plastic grommet. I guess i'll have to get the dealer to replace it

The build date may be key to the insulation. Mine does not have it. My bulid date is July 2015.
