  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi All,
I have searched through the forums and online for information on what seems to be a common failure. One of my front parking assist sensors is toast. I am getting the proximity warning when the vehicle slows to 10km/h. The warning goes off even with the system turned off (button on the dash). I have been searching for a way to delete the system altogether. I thought there might be a fuse I could pull but can’t find any information out there. Please let me know if you have been successful in deleting the system and how you did it!
TIA!

I had the same issue and just paid $400 to replace it over a year ago at the dealership. I delt with it for awhile but wanted it fixed even tho I don’t use it nor will I ever.

Thanks, looks like the easiest solution.
