  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The ESC light, ABS light all come on, then I start to lose acceleration, then my radio dies then air conditioner then all acceleration and then dies. When I try to restart, get the clicking/dead battery sound. This has come out of the blue...do you have any idea?

Sounds like a bad alternator and has resulted in your battery getting drained to the point where it didn't have the power to run the car and now start it too. If you do charge the battery and get it running again, check the voltage output of the alternator

*IF* the battery and all engine compartment fuses are all OK, then check the fuse block on the top of the battery. The fuses there can fail, and the bus bar can get hairline cracks and fail intermittently, showing some of the behavior you mention.
