  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello, when I push the POI button on my rear view mirror, all I get is a “Function not supported” message displayed on my touch display.
Weird, as all other buttons work and the POI work when I go thru the NAV screen.

Nobody else?
Guess I have to see how the Genesis service is for the first time.

I would try calling connected services first. Might just need to be reset.

I didn’t know it had a Point of Interest button.

The button on the mirror is different than the one on the nav in that it connects you with a server that does pretty good voice recognition, and is likely more up to date than the database in the car. The down side is that you have to have a subscription (included for the first three years), and you have to be in an area with reception.

Mine failed me today. I also used the "Send to Car" on the app and it did not send anything to car. Tried it last night and this morning. I was half way to my destination before I could pull over to manually put in the destination.

I probably will not renew. For the few times I use it and the number of times it fail, not a good buy for $300

I’ve never pressed that button before. Thought it called Genesis or something for emergency? Guess I need to try it and see what happens? Never tried to download a destination send to car file either for haven’t had a real need yet.

I'm in Canada and running into the same issue. Called connected services a few times and nobody is able to help. My genesis experience manager has forwarded my query to corporate and I'm waiting for a reply.

I also had the maintenance function give a similar error when I first picked up my car (2022 g70) and had a connected services agent re-enroll me, which seemed to do the trick.

Exactly.
My experience manager said he would escalate it to corporate as well.
Still nothing yet.

Corporate says the button is no longer supported.
I told them that was ridiculous and you should not have a button in a new car that does not work.
Told them I want the mirror replaced with one without the button.
Like the one I’m told is now in the GV70.
We’ll see how that goes over.
They are checking.
