Bought my 2019 G70 3.3t from Napleton in West Palm Beach. Good service for three years, but a bit of a travel. A new Genesis (Delray Genesis) opened half the distance from my home, so I figured I'll give them a try for my annual oil/filter/tire rotation service. Got there for a 1pm appointment, told it would take 3 hrs and they gave me a complementary LIFT home (with pick up when car done.) By 4:30 I called them asking the status of my car. Told I'd get a call back. No one called back. I kept calling and finally told that it had not been work on and was told it would be ready the next day at 4pm. Told them to send LIFT to bring me back to service so I could pick up the car. Never happened and I had to call them the next morning to get a response. Car still not done. Wife drove me to service and I took the car home to be serviced elsewhere.
Th problem:
Genesis/Hyndai are sort of an add-on to an existing Acura dealership. And the mating, at least for Genesis service, appears to be like pressing a square peg into a round hole. Seemed like they were inundated with too much work and not well enough organized to handle the work load. People were quitting, people were in training, lack of call backs, very jam-packed lots...just not the Genesis service or conditions I was used to. Bottom line: I don't think Delray Genesis Service is ready for prime time and wouldn't recommend it for service at this time. Now, to be honest, as the actual servicing of the car was not done, I can't attest to the quality of the service workmanship.
