It sure sounds like these pano roofs are disasters waiting to happen. Even more reason to watch the road like a hawk and avoid potholes, etc. Because I believe the low profile tires are more susceptible to damage than your average tire.
On the bright side, at least you have your car back. My Genesis has been in the shop for almost 5 weeks.
yeah well I have now. they've had it twice for this, each time 3 weeks or so. this last time the tech caught his belt bucket or some tool on my steering wheel and tore the leather on the underside.
Just got finished with a meeting with the Service Manager over it this morning and he agreed to replace the steering wheel, the SA and SM were very understanding about it, the tech was a big guy (obese) and it was clear that he struggled getting in and out of the car and he rubbed the bottom of the steering wheel with is belly entering and exiting.
