Possible Lease Assumption

I have a leased 2014 Black on Black Genesis.
It currently has 5400 miles on the ODO.
Due to the downturn in the Drilling Industry and the fact that my job was eliminated, I am considering trying to find someone to assume the lease.
I can keep it, it would just be one less expense if I did not have that.
I love the car, it is fun to drive and really gets the looks and comments.
Front and rear wings.
I am just tossing this out and realize if I do list it I should put it in the "For Sale: forum.
36 month lease, March 8 will be a year.
In effect this would be a 2 year lease with 15,000 miles per year.
Must be able to assume and get me off the lease.
Again, just exploring and looking for comments.

Hey Earl, you may want to include some other details like what fees would be included, what payments would be, V6 vs V8, packages... What the payoff would be at the end of the lease.

Saudi Arabia is putting the squeeze on American Drillers/Frackers with their continued supply vs demand, which is driving down prices/profits for everyone. Sorry about your job bud, good luck with finding the right buyer/sub-lessee...

Yes sir, I understand the additional info.
Actually it is a V-6 Base.
Just cruising at the moment to see if there are any interested folks.
Details are certainly available.

Thanks. If that is the case I will keep it.

I will check into the possibility of the assumption of the lease.
I have not done anything toward that end as of yet.

The above statement is not entirely correct. You can have someone else assume your lease.

Or you could move north where drilling is primo. I know quite a few folks around here who went up to Williston without any experience and they are making serious money.

I am checking further on the lease assumption.

Williston has had a great run but even there the rigs are going down.
At age 76 I am staying clear of that type of work. lol
I started my career at age 22 working on a Drilling Rig, then got into sales and spent the next 55 years selling something related to the Energy Industry.
Had various Sales Mgr's positions and a good run as VP Sales & Marketing before the 80's bust, and here we go again.
