Just bought a 2018 G90 Ultimate. It has 11K miles on it. I am aware I get the 5yr/60K factory warranty and lose the 10yr/100k. I bought the car from a Cadillac dealer and they offered a third part maintenance for $5800 with a $300 deductible 7yr/100k. I was thinking this is super high but interested in any comments on this. I did not take the deal and of course it was "You have to buy it today or no deal!". If I bought the car from a Genesis dealer I imagine the would offer an extended warranty under a pre-certified offering, maybe??? With all the electronics I would feel better having a 100K warranty. I have a 2011 Genesis and have had a transmission put in it so most warranty cost to me would be worth it. Anyone have experience adding a good third party or tips on how I can get the car pre-certified and under a Genesis extended warranty? I called a few dealerships in my area but keep getting voice mails and no returned calls.
