  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Is there anything I should look out for before test driving on Friday? Any specific cabin noise or engine sounds? Should I test a highway speeds or city driving should be good? Any tips and tricks I should know about if i buy the vehicle. Thanks everyone

To avoid surprises test drive both city and highway. Especially if it’s the exact car you are planning to buy.
If The lease cash is significant, consider leasing and maybe buy out after a month if you don’t like leasing

The only thing I don’t like in my 3+ year old 2017 G80 Premium is (example: when making a l/h turn in the r/h lane of 2 lanes turning & the alarm goes off warning me there is a car in the inner lane where I’m not going). The solution is to not use the turn signal, or temporarily tapping the warning button to the off position.

One way to look at it is once you are in the Left Turn lane, signalling is no longer required. ya just gotta go where the lane takes you; unless you plan to move over to the next lane.

There’s TWO left turning lanes & I’m in the right. Traffic coming toward me deserves to see my signal flash. Especially when the lane I’m in can sometimes have turn or straight as an option!

I have a question does the 2017 G80 premium have the welcome/puddle lights?
