  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Yikes! Talk about setting a low bar. You should be able to buy a 2012 4.6 (assuming they are ever released) for around 41,300, without any hard negotiating. If you want a deal, subtract about $4K from that price for a 2011.

2011 Genesis 4.6 V8 vehicles are being advertised in the Tampa area for $36,300 (which includes the $1500 Owners/Competitive rebate). Courtesy & Fitzgerald Hyundai as an example.

There's even one or two dealers that have new 2010 V8 vehicles still in inventory. (but without incentives, are hoping for someone to walk in and pay a riduculous amount)

Its good to know what other people are seeing out there. Maybe we will be able to use this info to go back to our own dealers and say..WTF are you doing !!!

So post legitimate ads that we can use not just hearsay.

Or just read the pricing threads and see what buyers actually paid. Every one will have been lower than the "ad" price. At least five people in my area have paid $37,250 for a 2011 4.6. Those prices are without the $1500 rebate. If I were a consumer, this would be my preferred source. If I were a dealer, then, of course, no. I'd want something different.

I posted in the other thread already but bought a 2011 4.6 two weeks ago and paid 35,200 plus dealer fee and TTL. (this included the competitive discount $1,500)
