  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello everyone:

I have 48,000 miles on my car and the pads have worn for a second time. I told the dealer to stuff it and had my local shop install a Power Stop Brake system and use ProSpeed RS683 fluid.

The difference is incredible and I highly recommend you explore doing this as well.

Specifics in the signature.

Best,

SJ

The brakes on my 2010 4.6 are the best I’ve ever had in a vehicle (still stock, low miles), but if/when I need new brakes I’ll try to keep those in mind.

Had my first set of original brakes replaced 220K plus miles with the Power Stop kit. They are amazing.
