  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does anyone else have the same situation occur that when the navigation is viewing a temporary pop up window shows previewing the previous destinations to select from...and then it disappears? I'm trying to see if there is a setting to shut that off and can't seem to locate it...or is this the default?

So does anyone have this occurring with their software on the Nav??

I really do not think to many will respond as there are only like 3 people here on the site who actually own a 2015. I have an inquiry as to when they think I will get mine but as it is now there are only white, black and gray with black interiors available in my neck of the woods. Will get back to you when I know more.

I picked up mine today and used the previous destinations option twice. Neither time did the window with my previous options disappear until I selected one.

I think you misunderstood what I'm trying to get at...I presume that you were getting a pop up window listing previous destinations (once you have input a few)? (Perhaps I did hit cancel on the screen and not wait for it to disappear but that isn't my concern). I'm wanting to see if others also get that popup listing their previous destinations and if there might be a setting to have it stop listing them on that pop up window. I don't know what they were thinking...most cars just have a previous destination area if you want to repeat a previous destination but not as a default to have to deal with every time you have your navigation in view after starting the car. That's just annoying. :-)

Oh, I understand now. I believe I had to press an icon for previous destinations to bring up the pop up window.

That is what I'm trying to figure out because my window listing the previous destinations comes up automatically each time the Nav screen appears for the first time after starting the engine.

Funny enough, the very same thing happened on my new 2013 R-Spec for almost a month, it drove me bonkers , with no time until last weekend when I broke down and RT#M for the NAV!

On 2013 R-Spec NAVI HOME -> SETUP -> MAIN -> unchecked the "Display Previous Destination" (alas no more scroll down and press cancel :D).

I would imagine there should be some equivalent setting on the 2015 .

Mine is doing it now too, but I'm quite sure it wasn't doing this previously. Maybe it depends on whether you used navi to get to your last destination. I will mess with it some more. I haven't been able to get into the settings menus yet because it doesn't allow you to when you are driving.

I figured it out! On the base model head unit there is a "setup" button to the right of the cd loading area. Never noticed the button before (or the CD player for that matter) with all the other buttons in that area. The setup button brings you to a different menu where you can select nav and change additional settings. You can un - check the box for display previous destinations. FTW!
